How to sign "more" in ASL
How to Sign "More"
“More” is signed by bringing your fingertips of both hands together repeatedly:
- Form both hands into flat-O shapes (fingertips touching thumbs).
- Tap the fingertips of both hands together a couple of times in front of you.
Tips
- This is often a child's first sign — it’s great for everyday use.
- Keep your hands centered and the motion gentle.
Common Mistakes
- Clapping hands together instead of fingertip-to-fingertip.
- Making the motion too fast or aggressive — be calm and clear.
Think: “More, please” — soft and polite.
